The Furniture Emporium has been successfully trading in Newport, Isle of Wight for some 9 years. Originally we traded exclusively in new and reclaimed pine, offering both standard ranges and a made to measure/your design service which quickly became very popular. Customers were very happy that they were at last able to design their own furniture to fill the exact space they had available, including kitchens, bedrooms, in fact any item of furniture you require to compliment your home or to match to an existing furniture collection. At the time, the business was called “The Pine Emporium”.

Over the years, the range and type of furniture we stock has broadened considerably leading to a name change two years ago to “The Furniture Emporium”. We still have the original new and reclaimed pine ranges (standard and make to measure/your design), although they too have developed over the years, and we now also stock several oak ranges, both contemporary and traditional, an ash range, leather dining chairs, sofas and arm chairs, Italian leather suites and bean bags. In addition, our make to measure/your design service now includes oak as well as pine.

Our aim is to continue to supply quality furniture whilst still giving excellent value for money and top notch customer care. As a family run business, we understand that customers want stylish furniture which is built to last but doesn’t cost the earth. We also know that island customers, in particular, find it a struggle to obtain the choice and range of styles which are more easily available to mainland customers. We hope that our new website will allow us to increase the ranges of furniture we supply even further, so giving our island customers mainland variety but with the security of being provided by an island business which has a known and trusted reputation.

We have always aimed to provide the widest possible choice whilst selecting quality products. The fact that our business is continuing to grow indicates that we are getting it right!
